This is some inspiring stuff.  I tried out a much, much, much simpler version of this a while ago using just a flashlight, but this is really taking long-exposure, light motion photography to another level.  What I’d like to see are the actual equipment used to make this all possible.  They have to make a video of this being done.

Tweenbots

If you don’t find this story (or “experiment”) heartwarming, then you might be more robot than this tweenbot.  Created by a NYU student, the tweenbot is a cardboard robot with an irresistibly cute smiley face that can only move forwards.  As a result, it needs the help of those around it to navigation to its final destination.

I’m inspired by this.

I found this to be a phenomenal talk on how today’s education shapes a child’s creativity (or as Sir Ken Robinson puts it, “squander” it).  Please check it out, and watch the video.

Sir Ken Robinson: Do Schools Kill Creativity?

As is with any poignant message, there are bound to be some debate and lingering questions.  Nonetheless, as an individual who is nearing the end of his formal education, I personally found this message to be a chilling (but also refreshing) one.
